XARPI is a grunge-overall band formed at the end of 2022 in Vitrë (BZH). Led by Brazilian singer-guitarist Izzy, alongside Justine (bass), Lénaïc (drums), and Marcello (lead guitar since 2025), the quartet blends the raw energy of grunge with punk bursts, melancholic ballads, reggae grooves, and guitar solos.

Their music oscillates between bottle up rage, sharp irony, and surreal imagery, with lyrics in English, Portuguese, and French. XARPI brings to mind both the fury of The Distillers and the poetic darkness of Tom Waits, the urgency of T.S.O.L., or the noisy textures of Sonic Youth, while maintaining a distinctly unique identity.

100% independent, the band produces its own EPs, music videos, fanzines, and loves collaborating with other artists. Their two EPs, 3,1415… (2023) and Get Over It (2024), revive the spirit of the 90s with a raw, intense, and radically honest aesthetic.
